Quest Testing

Testing Galxe Creative Center Courses’ first quest

Testing Galxe Creative Center Courses’ first quest

After finishing the quest creation process and releasing your quest, you may be tempted to begin promoting it and sharing the quest URL immediately. While we understand your excitement, Galxe always recommends that you first test your quest from the user’s point of view, to ensure that your participants will have a smooth experience when they complete tasks and claim rewards in your quest. If there are any issues with the quest, it’s much better that you identify them yourself rather than your community pointing them out to you later, and any unforseen difficulties in the quest will naturally lead to a lower completion rate. For these reasons, you’ll want to participate in your own quest first, and if possible invite others from your team to do a round of internal testing. You can collect feedback from your teammates to improve the quest before announcing it as well.

To test your quest and ensure a smooth quest experience for your participants, we recommend the following steps:

  1. View the quest page and double check that the copy included in your title and description is clear and free of any errors
  2. Confirm the dates included on the quest match your intended quest time period. Note the dates and time on the quest page are displayed in your local time.
  3. Try each task individually and ensure that they can be verified when you click the circular arrow on the task bar.
  4. Once you have completed all necessary tasks in your quest, claim your quest rewards to ensure the process is working.
